Delizen is a small cafe situated in Ealing, West London. My involvement with them as a freelancer was to help improve their business. I was asked to redesign their menus, and to design a number of posters advertising special meal deals. Listed below are finished samples of both products.

The Menu

The owners of Delizen were very particular about what they wanted. This job required strict prioritising and time planning as I had tight deadlines to meet. They requested this three way fold menu, this shade of red to match the colour of their cafe, and to incorporate a watermark effect within the design. To accommodate the number of copies required, it was suggested they got them professional printed. In order to get the best printing results, the menu was created in Photoshop with a high resolution.

These special meal deal posters were also created with a high resolution within Photoshop. Each photo containing the food arrangement needed to be cleaned of any shadows and brightened up. After that, the images were placed on a plain white background to enable it to stand out. The final designs were printed on A3 size paper and were all placed in the shop window to attract the public.
