2 Dimensional Work ..............................................................................................................................................................

Baby Mike

This piece of work was a college assignment. I was assigned to act as an advertising psychologist recruited by an advertising and marketing company to create a campaign for Nike’s new range of baby sneakers. My initial approach to this was to design the sneaker and make it the focal point of the advert. Then created a basketball enthused baby on a basketball court to mainly appeal to those parents who are interested in sport. I then finally added a funny, catchy and memorable strap line to finish off.

The Streets

This is a perspective drawing of street similar to Dalston high street in London. It was designed it Macromedia Flash.

The Bakers Arms

This is a perspective drawing of a pub where I formerly worked. Studing a picture on one of their menus, I then created within Macromedia Flash. Later adding a background to convert into a full picture.

Cruise Liner

This cruiser liner was taken from an article out of a newspaper. Using it as a guide, I then created it within Flash, and then imported it into Adobe Photoshop to add some realistic effects.

Living Room

Here is another example of a perspective drawing of a living room leading to a kitchen. This is one of the scenes taking from a computer interactive, animated story I created for a university project. The project was a brief cartoon aimed for young children.

Cartoon character

This was a character I originally was experiencing with. I had initially sketched him out on paper and then decide to carry it further. I redesigned him in Flash, and then continued with it in Photoshop. He was created with the concept of comparing the contrast between good and bad / right and wrong.

Crystal ball

The Crystal ball was another experiment. I was just trying testing the boundaries of Photoshop. This was initially a 2 dimensional image. However by using various tools and materials within Photoshop, I further developed it into an effective 3 dimensional image.

Party Invitation

This flyer created to help advertise a combination of my family’s special occasions. It was designed in Photoshop with the addition of some images that were designed and imported from Macromedia Flash.
